Shorashim Research Engine helps you discover their ancestral roots and explore possible connections to the Bnei Anusim—descendants of Sephardic Jews who were forced to convert to Christianity during the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisitions. Through surname research, historical documents, genealogical records, and ancestral migration patterns, Shorashim provides valuable resources for those seeking to uncover their family’s hidden or forgotten Jewish heritage. With a particular focus on Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Latin America, and the American Southwest, our mission is to help individuals reconnect with their family history through careful, evidence-based research. Every name has a history, every family has a story, and every journey begins with discovering your roots.
