The Prophetic Return to Identity
"For You are our Father - even if Abraham would not know us or Israel not recognize us.
You, Adonai, are our Father, our Redeemer - from everlasting is Your Name"
- Isaiah 63:16
According to the Prophets of the Tanakh, it was prophesied that Israel would be scattered among the nations of the earth. Yet, the Prophets would also go on to prophesy that even through Israel would be scattered, they would not be forsaken by Adonai, even if they were no longer recognizable by Abraham and their own people, Israel. Adonai would not only recognize, but He would also remember them and one day, He would remind them of their identity and bring them home. Back to the people and back to the land of Israel. We are now living in the times of those promises that were foretold long ago by the prophets of Adonai. As it is written, "For I will take you from the nations, gather you out of all the countries and bring you back to your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean from all your uncleanness and from all your idols. Moreover I will give you a new heart. I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the stony heart from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Ruach within you. Then I will cause you to walk in My laws, so you will keep My rulings and do them. Then you will live in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be My people and I will be your God" - Ezekiel 36:24-28.
There are many scholars within Messianic Judaism, who believe that the Return of Messiah Yeshua will not happen without the return of the Sephardic Bnei Anusim. Even among those of Rabbinic Judaism, it is believed that the return of Sephardic Bnei Anusim is so vital that the Messiah won’t come until they return to Israel. Messiah Yeshua Himself said that until all of Israel has been gathered together, He will not return, saying: "He will send out His angels with a great shofar, and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other" - Matthew 24:31. As a result of the increasing numbers of the many Latinos returning and reclaiming their Jewish heritage and identity, the discussion regarding what is called "Pintele Yid," (the Jewish Spark). It is a Yiddish term relating to the Jewish soul. Pintele Yid, is as if the DNA that is within every Jew is coming to its realization and finding its way home regardless of their location or even assimilation - whether or not they even know that they are Jewish. This doesn't mean that if one "feels" they are Jewish, they are in fact Jewish. And it certainly doesn't mean that if one had a vision or a dream that told them "you're Jewish," are indeed Jewish either. It goes beyond "feelings" or so-called visions and dreams, because according to Torah, it's prophetic. There is a prophetic history that has paved the way for the Sephardic Bnei Anusim to return them to their heritage and identity. Adonai is calling His people back to their identity and to the land of Israel.
